The stars shone with exceptional brilliance in January when luminaries from the sports and entertainment worlds turned out to honor Tim Leiweke for his contribution to fundraising efforts on behalf of City of Hope, a Comprehensive Cancer Center, in Los Angeles. Since the spring of 2009, Tim and AEG have raised almost $9 million to help City of Hope researchers continue their innovative work into cancer, diabetes, HIV/AIDS and other life-threatening diseases.
Flexjet, the official jet sponsor of the Spirit of Life® Gala, joined in
the celebration for Leiweke, President and Chief Executive Officer of
AEG, one of the world’s leading sports and entertainment promoters.
Stephanie Chung, Flexjet Regional Vice President for Sales, congratulated Leiweke for his work on behalf of City of Hope. “In honor of Mr. Leiweke’s contributions, and to thank everyone who helped make the Spirit of Life gala such a huge success,” she said, “Flexjet pledged a substantial donation to City of Hope for every fractional share, jet card or on-demand charter flight purchase
made through the end of February by those who attended the gala.”
