While it is now clear that the private aviation sector will recover from the economic downturn, the landscape has changed. The industry will not simply
go back to business as usual.
Corporations and individuals are closely reviewing their travel strategies, working to ensure that they use the most efficient, most cost-effective solution for every situation. Flight departments large and small are concluding that they need a range of options to meet their varied travel demands.
Increasingly, aviation directors and chief pilots are turning to Flexjet to maximize their capabilities. Karen Goforth, National Account Director, says that is in part because they trust Flexjet – and Bombardier* – to act with integrity as a true partner.
“They trust Flexjet’s commitment to integrity and excellence,” Goforth says, “and
they know we are positioned to provide them with the best, most efficient and
cost-effective solution – even if it doesn’t involve fractional ownership.”
A FRESH APPROACH
Keeping with its tradition of innovation, Flexjet has created a new strategy for corporate flight departments. “In addition to providing jet cards, fractional solutions and arranging charter, we now offer a supplemental lift program that blends some of the unique services and benefits found in these traditional programs. The supplemental lift program can be further tailored to meet the specific requirements outlined by the flight department.”
Flexjet also takes executive personal travel into account, designing a program that accommodates both corporate and personal needs. “Every flight department is different,” Goforth says. “We custom-tailor a solution to exactly match each unique situation.”
The industry has been responding. Goforth is confident that supplemental lift will continue to grow, becoming firmly established as an important aspect of the total Flexjet suite of options.
