ClimateCare, a world-leading carbon offset provider, invests in a global portfolio of renewable-energy and energy-efficient projects, many of which are initiated by ClimateCare’s experts based around the world. ClimateCare offers the highest standards for choosing, measuring and reporting on its programs that help balance carbon emissions. Every project is closely monitored and independently verified under leading international standards to ensure that targets are achieved.

The foundation of Flexjet’s operational efficiency is our industry-leading scheduling system. This system, combined with our expertise and experience, makes it possible for us to maximize and optimize every flight we make. It also allows us to reduce our number of empty flights and their associated emissions. Additionally, Bombardier, Flexjet’s parent company, is the only company of its kind to hold membership in the Dow Jones Sustainability Index (DJSI), one of the most respected financial indexes used by investors to identify the world’s leading sustainability-driven companies.

HOW CARBON OFFSETS WORK

Carbon offset programs balance carbon emissions by investing in projects that avoid or reduce CO₂ emissions, ensuring that the amount saved balances the emissions being offset. Flexjet has calculated the average CO₂ emissions for each of our aircraft and assigned per-hour charges sufficient to balance those emissions with a ClimateCare offset project. Your carbon-offset fee—a small percentage of your hourly rate—will simply be added to your monthly bill.
