Bob Knebel joined Flexjet in 2003 as vice-president of sales, with more than 20 years' experience in the aviation industry. In joining Flexjet, Mr. Knebel's career literally came full circle, as his first executive position was U.S. sales director for the Learjet product line, working for Wichita-based Gates Learjet. He credits his early Learjet experience with setting in motion a lifelong passion for the business jet industry and its products.

Prior to joining Flexjet, Mr. Knebel was most recently vice-president of sales for the Citation business jet product line, working for Cessna Aircraft. He also served as vice-president of sales for Beech Aircraft (now Raytheon) and was co-founder and general manager of Gemini Distributors, which developed and introduced Securaplane aircraft security systems.

At Flexjet he is responsible for the company's national sales organization and support team.
