ABOUT US

Meet the aviation experts who help ensure that your travel experience is nothing short of stellar.

  • Fred Reid joined Flexjet* on August 25, 2008, as president of Flexjet. During his career of over 25 years in the aviation industry, he has earned an international reputation as a leader who has grown and strengthened businesses, with particular focus on customer service, brand-building and complex global operations.

Fred's executive management background includes experience at four of the world's major airlines, most recently as chief executive officer of Virgin America. He joined Virgin in 2004 and shaped America's "next generation airline" from the ground up.

Prior to joining Virgin America, and while serving as president of Delta Airlines, Fred led the creation of the airline's low-fare "Song"- branded airline and headed Delta Connection, the world's largest fleet of regional jets. He also built SkyTeam, regarded as the most integrated global airline alliance, and directed the successful acquisition of regional carriers ASA and Comair by Delta.

Fred was the first U.S. national to lead a major international airline when he was president and chief operating officer of Lufthansa German Airlines. He developed strategic international alliances for Lufthansa and helped to privatize the airline and return the company to profitability. From the mid-1970s to early 1990s, Fred held marketing and management positions with Pan American World Airways and American Airlines.

A native of San Francisco, Fred is a graduate of the University of California at Berkeley. He is a member of the Board of Directors of AMB Property Corporation, a global real estate firm specializing in warehouse logistics properties. He also serves on the Advisory Board of Taub Institute for Research on Alzheimer's disease.

  • Dave Gross brings more than 30 years of aviation experience to Flexjet*, with a focus on providing safe, customer-focused and efficient operations. He joined Flexjet in 1999 as director of flight operations and was named general manager in 2002. In May of 2005, he assumed responsibility for all Flexjet operational functions. He is currently responsible for flight operations, training, technical operations, operations analysis and program aircraft management, the owner operations center and procurement.

Mr. Gross began his career working for fixed base operations prior to becoming a pilot for US Airways Express. As an airline transport pilot, he flew more than 8,000 hours before being appointed to the airline's management team in the capacity of Vice President of operations and general manager.

  • Deanna White joined Flexjet* in 2005 as director of finance, was promoted to senior director of finance in 2007, and now holds the position of vice president of finance and administration. She is responsible for finance, human resources, contracts, legal and IT for the company.

Deanna began her career with GTE, and held various finance positions of increasing responsibility over her 15-year tenure. During the GTE-Bell Atlantic merger into Verizon, Deanna joined Genuity, an Internet company spun off from the merger, as director of accounting. She spent three years at Genuity before joining Flexjet.

Deanna holds a Bachelor of Science in Accounting and a MBA with an emphasis in Management Information Systems. She is also a Certified Public Accountant in the state of Texas.

  • J. Bruce Peddle joined Flexjet in March 2011 as the Vice President of Sales and Marketing. He brings with him more than 25 years of global enterprise management experience in the aviation industry.

Bruce has a track record of leading successful teams in sales, marketing and product support. He spent the last 14 years contributing to the growth of global aerospace company Embraer, where he most recently served as Vice President of North America’s Airline Market. Prior to that, he was Managing Director of Embraer Asia Pacific in Singapore, where he significantly grew the company’s market share and product support infrastructure in the region.

Bruce comes to Flexjet having already spent time working for Bombardier — Flexjet’s parent company — in international sales and marketing.

Early in his career, Bruce worked at Canadian Helicopter Corp. (formerly Sealand Helicopters) and Air Canada Jazz (formerly Air Nova), which helped instill his lifelong dedication to the aviation industry.

Bruce is a graduate of Saint Mary’s University in Halifax, Canada, where he earned a Bachelor of Commerce Degree in Finance, as well as his Certified Management Accountant designation from the Society of Management Accountants of Canada.
