FLEXJET CHARTER CARD
Your Flexjet charter card* allows you to pay a flat hourly rate for the hours you fly with no positioning or deadhead fees. It is that simple.
Pricing Details
There are multiple components that make up the cost of purchasing your Flexjet charter card aircraft:
Purchase Price
The up-front account deposit required to become a Flexjet charter card customer
How it is calculated
A Flexjet charter card requires an up-front account deposit of $100,000 to start flying on the Flexjet charter card network fleet – the balance of which is fully refundable at any time and may be replenished in $75,000 increments.
Hourly Rate
Charged for each hour you are in-flight and covers other associated costs
How it is calculated
The Flexjet charter card provides a guaranteed flat hourly rate that covers operator and crew fees, catering, aircraft repositioning, deadhead expenses and U.S. airport landing fees. Hourly rates vary by aircraft size category and are automatically deducted from your account post-flight.
Fuel Surcharge
Added to the hourly rate to account for the cost of fuel
How it is calculated
The fuel surcharge varies by aircraft type and is derived from the market price of jet fuel minus reimbursable federal fuel taxes and applicable volume purchase price discounts. Payment on fuel surcharges are deducted automatically from your account, and the cost may change with fluctuations in the market price of fuel. Fuel component adjustments are subject to a 7.5% Federal Excise Tax.
Other Expenses
Depending on your travel habits and itinerary, you may incur additional expenses outside of the aircraft operational cost
How it is calculated
Other expenses include but are not limited to overnight fees exceeding one day, de-icing, hangar fees, flight phone, international fees, customs and immigration fees, handling fees, Federal Excise Tax and non-standard crew and catering expenses.
