Flexjet Accepts First Delivery of the New Embraer Praetor 500 Just Weeks After Order

Flexjet, a global leader in fractional private jet travel, today announced its acceptance of its first delivery of the Embraer Praetor 500, part of a $1.4 billion order announced in October with Embraer Executive Jets, a division of Embraer for the Praetor 500 and 600 aircraft and Phenom 300 light jets. Flexjet is the fleet launch customer for the Praetor 500, expanding its fleet of superior midsized aircraft.

Private Jet Travel Takes Off This Holiday Season

With nearly seven million Americans expected to take to the skies this holiday season, up 4.9 percent from last year, global private jet travel provider Flexjet also is seeing major increases among those flying privately over the holidays, with travel reaching record levels over Thanksgiving and continuing its growth during the holiday season. Travel on December 20 and 21 is expected to exceed that of Thanksgiving weekend – annually the busiest travel days of the year.
