• Pop-up Private Terminal to Greet Travelers at Miami-Opa Locka Executive Airport
  • Novel Touches to Enhance Experience for Flexjet Owners and Guests

Cleveland, January 29, 2020 – Flexjet LLC, a global leader in fractional private jet travel, will open a “pop-up” private terminal at Miami-Opa Locka Executive Airport exclusively for Flexjet Owners who are traveling to football’s biggest game. Operating from January 30 through February 4, the Flexjet Exclusive “pop up” terminal ensures Flexjet Owners receive private aviation’s most exciting travel experience during a period when more than 1,100-1,500 private aircraft are expected to descend on South Florida for the Big Game.

Fewer than six miles from Hard Rock Stadium, Flexjet’s presence at Miami-Opa Locka will match the levels of service that Owners experience at its Flexjet-exclusive private terminals around the country. Flexjet will provide a private hospitality lounge with team members on hand to help with Owners’ travel logistics and anything else that comes up to assist in the game-day celebrations. On arrival and departure, Owners can unwind with wine from Flexjet’s brand partner Trinitas Cellars, in addition to curated snacks to fuel up. And, Flexjet will have a boutique on site to equip guests with gear to represent their team.

Latest Line: Odds Favor a Robust Private Fly-in for 2020’s Game in Miami

South Florida, with its entertainment, leisure and lifestyle amenities, annually is one of Flexjet’s top five travel destinations. With an exciting game on tap and all of the associated festivities, this is set to be the game most attended by Flexjet Owners in recent history.

“When the game is in a warm-weather locale, more people fly in and they tend to stay longer so they can extend their trip into a real winter getaway,” said Flexjet Chief Operating Officer Megan Wolf. “2019 saw double-digit increases in travel over holiday weekends, and we expect private jet travel this year to continue that trend, especially since Owners can book with as little as 10 hours’ notice, making last-minute travel decisions easy.”

Flexjet’s premium offering, Red Label by Flexjet, features the industry’s youngest fleet of jets, flight crews dedicated to a single, specific aircraft and custom cabin interiors – making the fractional provider an especially attractive option for Flexjet Owners, their family, friends and colleagues. Given that this year’s game in Miami is beyond driving distance for hometown fans of the San Francisco 49ers and Kansas City Chiefs, nonstop range is very important. In addition, comfortable seating capacity is critical, since so many fans travel together, often comprising multiple generations. The most popular Flexjet aircraft for travel to the game will be those with transcontinental range and generous interiors including the Embraer Praetor 500, Bombardier Challenger 350 and the Gulfstream G450 and G650.

In addition to the pop-up Flexjet-Exclusive Private Terminal, many Flexjet Owners traveling to the big game will benefit from a special partnership with Miami’s Hotel Faena, which reached capacity prior to the game.
