ASCENDING INTO 2023

2022 is almost over and we’re reflecting on an eventful year here at Flexjet, while looking ahead to some exciting developments in 2023.
Demand for our services in Europe and The Middle East continues to grow. Nobody can predict the future, especially in a time of global economic uncertainty, but with our exceptional fleet, unrivalled service and deep industry experience, we are confident that we can continue to expand and thrive.
We are reaping the benefits of the considerable investments we’ve made here over the past two years, in our fleet, team and business infrastructure. We were delighted to welcome our first European-based Gulfstream G650 in September, joining several of our Praetor 600 fleet in being registered and operated in Malta, where we have established a world-class growing team and operation alongside our other European locations in the UK and Italy.

Flexjet’s exciting next chapter
For over 25 years, Flexjet has set the standard in private aviation and, as we announced in October, we are planning to become a public company in 2023 via a listing on the New York Stock Exchange. This is set to fuel our next stage of growth, including plans for more expansion in Europe and The Middle East. You can read more here about this exciting next chapter.
Advancing our sustainability commitment
We continue to strive to improve the environmental efficiency of our operation and Flexjet recently made an unrivalled commitment to have 12% of our global fuel usage be Sustainable Aviation Fuel (SAF) by 2030. In a unique partnership, we are also working closely with innovative clean fuel producer Alder Fuels and our sustainability advisors at 4AIR. We plan to utilise Alder’s next-generation SAF made from sustainable and scalable biomass once it is certified; and to pilot innovative technology to verify the fuel’s uptake.
We know that SAF represents the most effective way for the aviation industry to reduce its climate impact in the coming years. Together with our modern, fuel-efficient fleet; option to invest in future flight technologies via the Aviation Climate Fund; and our existing offsetting programme (in which we offset every flight to 300% of emissions as standard), our sustainability commitment is second-to-none in the industry.
Making eventful memories
It’s been delightful to share many memorable times with our Owners outside of the cabin this year. This included our hosted VIP event spaces at Royal Ascot, TEFAF and Masterpiece London, and our curated intimate occasions, including a recent private tasting weekend at Chateau Angelus in Bordeaux.
Our events schedule for 2023 is taking shape and begins with the Snow Polo World Cup in St Moritz from 27th to 29th January, for which we are very proud to be a team sponsor for 2023.
