OUR GROWING OPERATIONAL CENTRE IN MALTA

Flexjet provides our Owners with exceptional flight experiences within countries, between continents, and across the world. Key to this is our world-class operations team and in Europe, we currently have two operational bases in the UK and in Malta.

Our growing number of European Owners are flying a greater variety of routes and, with Malta inside the European Union and the UK outside it, this gives us the operational scope and flexibility to provide flights across the whole of Europe and for wider global connections.

Our Operational Centre in Malta has grown significantly since we secured our Maltese Air Operator Certificate in 2021. And to expand our team and infrastructure further, we moved to new, larger offices in Malta’s Ta’Xbiex district earlier this year.

 

SEAMLESS FLIGHT OPERATIONS ACROSS THE WORLD

Our Malta-based team works closely and seamlessly with our UK Operations team at our Tactical Control Centre (TCC) at Farnborough Airport; and at our global Operational Control Centre (OCC) in Cleveland, Ohio. Together this provides a full and continuous global oversight and management of all Flexjet fleet movements, including considerations of flight planning; permit and slot requests; crew rostering; weather monitoring; liaison with Air Traffic Control and much more.

In September we were delighted to confirm that our latest Flexjet fleet addition, our first European-based Gulfstream G650, would be registered in Malta and operated by our Maltese operation, joining a number of our super-midsize Praetor 600 fleet.

This was marked by a certificate presentation from Aaron Farrugia, Minister for Transport, Infrastructure and Capital Projects, to Flexjet Chief Executive Officer Michael Silvestro and European Managing Director Marine Eugène.
